If your staying at LAX then like I said in your other post to head over to El Segundo Whole Foods for bottles. If you have time I would head south to Long Beach to Beachwood BBQ & Brewery. Well worth the visit and time. But go later in the evening (7-9pm) due to traffic on the 405.

In no particular order: Surly Goat, Blue Palms, Daily Pint, Father's Office, City Tavern.

Should be enough to get you started.

The Goat has the best tap list of any night club I've ever been to.

I'm attending an event tomorrow at the Sonos Studio at 145 N. La Brea in LA, what's my best beer option near this venue?

District 13 ( http://www.d13la.com/ ) doesn't get many mentions, but they have 22 taps and decent food. Not that crowded ever either.

The downside for them is that the beers range very wildly and they get a few bombs on occasion.

Surly Goat is 2 miles, Blue Palms is 3 miles, District 13 is 2.5 miles.

Looking for some more advice. I pick a friend up around 1 today at the Burbank airport then will be looking for food/beer options for lunch. Was thinking beechwood but I don't think I want to drive that far down there and have to brave traffic coming back up. Was thinking maybe Father's office but they don't open until 5. I'm willing to drive a bit but not too crazy far. Thanks!

I'd second Tony's Darts Away. It's just a few minutes away from the airport and always have a solid tap list. http://tonysda.com/craft-beer/

However, after looking at Mohawk Bend's current tap list, it is definitely the superior choice today: http://mohawk.la/beer/

personally i would say mohawk. they are similar menus (and same owner). mohawk has more options

tony's is mostly sausages. mohawk has pizzas and burgers and other stuff as well. both have vegan options

They're both run by the same people, but I'd say Mohawk Bend has the more extensive menu and the food is good at both.
