anyone been to previous years? how was it?

    seems pretty pricy

as with many beer festivals, on one hand i think it would be fun to go, on the other i think of the beer i could buy with the ticket price, to be enjoyed in a relaxing line-free environment

I went a couple years ago. I had a blast. My buddy and I both brought bikes which cut down on the time travelling between bars. I recommend doing that if you can. I don't remember there being a bunch of rare stuff but it was still a good time.

No breweries/beers listed = fail. Seriously, event planners need to step up their game on this.

TFP 6 and Blue Palms 5th are on those same days. There will be some crawling there.

I have gone for the last 2 years and there have been some decent beers/breweries. Most of the bars are fairly close to each other and you got a good amount of beer. I thought it was good value.

This year, however, they changed the format to be 2 days instead of 1. I'm a little concerned they will just roll out the same offerings both days and not have anything you couldn't find on the store shelves.

TFP 6 + BP 5 are much better options that weekend. Those tap lists are insane.

I plan on going as long as my bank account permits it!

Great idea. But too much $$'s for me. It's all about the money these days.
