Lost Abbey Teku Stemware

I ordered one of these glasses the last time they were available and I rarely drink out of it. I love the glass but I'm so afraid I'll pull something stupid and break it!!!! Awesome glass...

 

Same here. Love the glasses, but rarely used them. Last time they saw use was when my wife got a Red Poppy.

 

I put both of mine through the handle on the sink

 

Oh man, I just receive my teku glass and I absolutely love it. I already know this is going to become my go-to glassware.

 

Good news is these are back in stock on their website, bad news is they have gotten rid of the cheaper shipping option.

 

If anyone is already ordering one and wants to trade for a Hill Farmstead stemmed glass shoot me a BM.

 

Haven't seen this thread updated in ages, but I can confirm that they're still accepting orders for these at the Lost Abbey site. I have a pair on the way.

 

Ouch $15 shipping for two glasses, but I want these so bad.

 

Aside from looking cool what is the benefit to a teku?

 

It was only $9 for me. Total cost was righ around $26. Which is expensive. But I think worth it.

 

They were ostensibly designed for doing sensory evaluation of all styles of beer, much like ISO glass is used in wine competitions. And everyone I know who has them rave about them, so I went for it.

Thanks for the tip guys! I've been looking for the FFF Teku glass, but finding one without giving up my left nut has been impossible.

Just completed my order for two of the Lost Abbey Teku glasses. I only need one, but with shipping at $12.54 I ordered a second one to make it worthwhile.

 

I just ordered two as well. I figure I'll use one and keep the other to use as a gift or replacement should the unthinkable happen.

Not cheap. Came to about $28 with the shipping, but I don't care. It's a beautiful glass and I can't help but imagine the joy I'll feel whenever I use it. I think it'll be worth the money.

 

Just went back and forth with someone on ebay for a lot of 4 FFF Teku glasses... No bids and auction ends tomorrow they are willing to take $65.00 for them according to the last message they send me, I'm passing on it and going for the Lost Abbey's.....

Prepare to wait for what seems like an eternity. I placed my order on 09.15.12 (I know, a Saturday) and they finally shipped on 09.24.12. Looks like I should get them this Saturday in time for the game.

Received my Teku glasses this morning and they threw in a Lost Abbey Rastal San Marco Glass as an extra. Even The Lost Abbey knows about beer karma.

 

Does it magically add carbonation to the beer you pour into it?
