We stopped by on a trip back from HF yesterday, this place is firing on all cylinders!

House pints are still $4, cool guest taps, great food. This place is a must stop if you are anywhere close to Morrisville.

Only been once but I walked away a huge fan of the experience and can't wait to visit again the next time I'm up there.

My wife and I stopped there for lunch one day on an extended weekend trip, and we both agreed it was the best meal all weekend. Great beer & food. All around cool spot.

Very cool spot but it just isn't my thing...I got the sampler and only really would drink 2 of then again.

Amazing food, Gose is a favorite, and Pitch Black is a great beer to go with burgers or their great gose braised pork sandwiches. Sign up for their mailing list to keep up the progress of the bottles, they aren't that far away.

Great stop and experience that's conveniently located half way between Waterbury and HF. Great pit stop.

My standard lunch or dinner stop on the way home from HF. Great meal and 2 short pours for $20. Reminds me of the Alchemist pre-flood. Great variety of styles, all low-gravity for a safe drive home.

Nothing better than a pint of Gose and a Cubano sandwich at Lost Nation!

Going up next Friday will take your advice and check it out on the way back from HF.

A bar near me posted last week they had the gose on tap. Once I saw that I made plans to stop there for lunch on Saturday. I had two pours of it paired with some Island Creek oysters. Great beer, great lunch.

Allen & Jamie have been traveling to Boston area once a month all winter to set up keg accounts there with a local distributor. You'll find it in the better taprooms now and in the future.

    Is the road construction finished?

Grabbed a few Goses at the Brendan Behan over the weekend. They're popping up all over.

Final paving is scheduled for Oct-Nov 2014, so the short answer, not even close.

OP I watched the "Morrisville Bypass Flyover" video. Looks like a way to go yet! But it should be pretty nice when it's finished, especially for those of us heading all the way up to Eden. I'm driving up tomorrow and I'm almost as excited to go to Lost Nation as I am for all of the other events this week.

    Is road construction ever finished?

As a sidebar, today in NJ they closed the Pulaski Skyway, a major road to NYC, for a scheduled two years.

    Couldn't agree more.

Lost Nation is my local go to. You can find me there on most Thursday or Friday nights  Place seems to be packed almost every night. The only real downside is they don't have Pitch Black for growlers (and I guess never will?)

I enjoy lunchtime there - Jess is pouring, the kitchen isn't slammed, and Jamie usually wandering in & out of the brewery with time for a quick chat. Must be great to have as your local!

This place has become my "go to" after filling up some Growlers at Hill Farmstead. SOme great food comes out of the kitchen and you can't beat the prices.
