Monnik, Atrium & Against The Grain seem to be the "must try" breweries while in Louisville. Will be in town on a Sunday & Monday and are wondering with a limited time frame what are some other breweries that are a must try? Prefer smaller brewery only vs. big brewery/restaurants. Also, looking for a good lunch spot Monday after a Louisville Slugger tour. Thanks for any suggestions... Cheers
I'd ad Gravely to your list. Really enjoyed it on our last trip. Food there was good, and the food at Monnik is as well, so you may be able to accomplish both requests at either location. Beer at Akasha brewing was ok, but there is "Grind Burger Bar" across the street that you can order from, and the burgers were fantastic.
Gallant Fox and Ten20 are smaller and new. But check this site for brewery lists, etc. https://www.louisvillealetrail.com/
I’ll throw in Holsopple over in the East end. Good brewery and good people. Real low key and out of the way but their IPA is top shelf.
For under the radar I always love Holsopple. Also really dig Mile Wide's nonipa stuff (plus they have pinball!!)
