    Love/Hate for me is Kuhnhenn
Love: their beers are world class and they always have a variety of beers on tap
Hate: that they don't have distribution (yet), hate how unorganized bottle releases are (Winter solstice), hate that their prices are a bit on the high side.

Maine beer co. Love all their beers. Hate their price point and release format (IE silly 500 ml bottles). When I can find your beers cheaper on tap, something is wrong. How many years of complaining will it take before they fix this?

    Southern Tier and Goose Island.

Southern Tier is odd because they have some very good brews and then a whole lot of mediocre. I haven't had anything horrible though.

Goose Island has the BCBS and girls series (Sophie, Matilda, etc.) that are IMHO exceptional, then some middle of the road offerings like Christmas, The Muddy, and Pepe Nero.....and then you have the crap - 312, Endless, Green Line.

Otter Creek. Seasonals are great. Core not so much.

I love everything they make except for their barrel aged/sours but that's because I don't like that type of beer.

Sam Adams (or are they too big for this?) - Like/love their imperial series, barrel room series and some of their various seasonals, also Boston Lager is my go to beer at places that literally have just Sam and some domestic swill. On the other hand, there's a ton of stuff they make that flat out sucks. I appreciate that they're willing to experiment though.

DFH gets a little bit of the above too, but I've yet to have something of theirs that I've really hated.

Goose Island for me because while most of their non-BCB stuff is decent, I'd rather spend that money on something not AB

    Mikkeller and New Belgium also

I would offer the opinion that this almost has to happen with breweries offering a big range of products/styles. The more diverse a portfolio a brewery has, the more likely there are to be polarizing entries in the line-up. DFH - Palo Santo and Burton Baton are among my favorite beers, yet others are ultimately forgettable (<gasp> not overly fond of 60-minute). I enjoy many of Stone's beers, but have almost an equal number in the "what were they thinking" category.

Jack's Abby - much smaller range, but even within the Framinghammers some of the flavored offerings just don't do it for me. I'd much prefer the "plain Jane" BA Framinghammer over the coconut or PB&J variants any day of the week and twice on Sunday.

People say things like "I love everything they make", but I think the reality is that statement might be an exaggeration and a very difficult thing for a brewery to achieve. I can believe "I've never had a beer by XYZ that was poorly made or had serious quality flaws", but not that everything would be equally enjoyed given the examples shared in the thread already.

As far as Breweries I Absolutely LOVE~I suppose "Sierra Nevada" will always have a very special place in my Heart,Their "Pale Ale" is THE Beer that Pretty much changed my whole perception of just what "Craft" Beer was all about,[up until about 5 Years ago] I was your typical "American Macro Lager" Guy,and swore I was never going to get into Craft Beer,I just found the Scene full of Snobbery, and People who looked down on everyone that enjoyed any type of Mass Produced Lager Beer~However once I crossed that Bridge,[went out an bought a 12ver of Sierra Nevada's Pale Ale] It instantly Blew my Head off,and I thought WOW! so this is What I have been missing out on? what a dumb ass! hehehe,~I suppose it also Taught me just why so many "Craft Beer" Lovers Have such problems with Most American Macro Lagers,as much as I still Love an Ice Cold American Lager...I catch myself thinking "Corn Soda" more and More every day, where is the flavor?where are the Hops & Malts?and why do they ALL pretty much taste the same? Shit! I wanna REAL BEER! But I have learned ALL Beer Types and Styles Have Their Place @ the Table [even Light Beers]~and who in the hell am I to Judge anyone who enjoys a Type or Style of Beer/Ale that I Myself do not care for anyway? It's all Subjective man~
So I suppose "Sierra Nevada" & "Ballast Point" are two of my Favorites for sure,Ballast Point's Big Eye & Sculpin are just Amazing and Stellar IPA's [with "Sculpin" being my #1 IPA Ever] ~and Because I LOVE a Great Stout,Have to say "Brooklyn Brewery" for their "Black Chocolate Stout" ~Perfection~
as Far as Breweries that I HATE~one comes to mind that just may Brew the worst Beer EVER Made,"Camo"~If Satan himself brewed a Beer,it could not be half as foul, vile, and pure Evil as Camo Ice or Camo Black...just thinking about them makes me want to Hork~Cheers Guys/Gals;]
