I loved this beer. I am a huge creme brulee fan as it is. So this beer was so good to me.

    Cheers!

Had it at my buddy's house and while I didn't care for it, he liked it, but then again, he likes everything. The cherry was overpowering and could barely taste any stout qualities. My buddy begged to differ.

Another love or hate one is Dogfish Head 120 Min. and maybe GI Bramble, even though I just think that people had too high expectations before trying it.

    All American Wheats.

If I were beerEmperor and could banish one beer style, that would be my choice. Oberon, 312, Widmer "heferweizen" [liars], etc. Gone.

Yes, I would leave light adjunct lagers around and get rid of american wheats. I hate their existence that much.

Why - you cant judge it if you dont try it. Hell you shouldnt even be allowed to comment on it of you have never had it.

Interested to hear what you didn't like about this. Too tart/ not enough roasted flavor?

I wish it had some tartness, it was way too SWEET, sweeter than their Belgian Red.
As soon as you open it you smell Sweet Cheery.
It pours a nice brown color, with a nice tan foam.
You taste a hint of malt, but all you get is that strong cherry taste.

My husband and I couldn't decide for awhile how we felt about Rumpkin, it was extremely different. In the end, we decided that we liked it, because of all the different flavors you experience while drinking it, and it was unlike anything else we have had.

Also, love Southern Tier Creme Brulee. Dessert in a glass. But, it IS crazy sweet...which is why I have to share it with someone, I could never drink the entire thing!

    I loved Rayon Vert

I'm pretty sure the band-aid taste an acceptable funky attribute in Belgian Pale Ale's. I'm not saying it's for everyone, but I enjoy it.

Nonsense. There is nothing to hate there, only something to like less than others. I can't imagine anyone saying that it's a bad beer.

you are right sir i dont. i just typed in fartmaster and thought what a bad ass picture...i guess i dont deserve anything I think looks cool, without proper knowledge of it. Should i stop buying beers that look cool without knowing everything about the style, brewery, and secret mystery date codes on the bottles? lol

i looked him up, my hero, thanks for the education man..i always like to learn

Understandable. I feel like the name "Cherry Stout" is a misnomer. I think part of the problem is that people expect something different when they see "stout" in the title and that attributes some of the negativity with the beer.
