So last June or July, I had a bottle of Ayinger Oktoberfest and really enjoyed it. I'm guessing by then the beer was well past its prime. This September/ October I had some and thought it was okay. Has anyone else had an experience with enjoying a bottle of something that should be consumed fresh more with some age on it?
Yeah, I have some St Rogue Red (Amber Ale) with age on it. It has pleasantly smoothed out, rounded off.
