I forgot to mention Lionshead. Dirt cheap, and easy to drink.

Guilty Pleasure of mine. I like the occasional Olde English, Mickey's or Hurricane. Olde English especially so.

Love brats with good mustard and fried onions, maybe even peppers too.

I'm not a mustard fan, and I prefer raw onions, in general. But, yeah, it's hard to go wildly off-course here.

I suspect that I'll be in a Brat mood tomorrow, after our sorta-annual-collective-birthday-bottleshare party.

I'm seeing that too, it's been a bit. I love it with hot mustard, I can go raw or grilled onions too. Maybe for football Sunday

My review of Mickey's: From the shaped like a WW2 Grenade into, well no glass needed here, lets face it, this is what you want when you sit on a curb drinking alcohol wrapped in a paper bag . No excuses and no aplologies wanted.
The smell you should just avoid, anyone sticking their nose in this and inhaling is either stupid or drunk beyond reason.
The taste is sweet oblivion, yes, there is enough booze in this to get the job done quick and it's not unpleasant, kind of like a soft drink passed though beezelbubs bladder. grainy and warming and... familiar
I like it, I don't give a flying fig about the score here, it only supports my belief that most scorers are worse than me. and sitting on a curb will get you the truth sometimes. F you snob beerhipsters.

Remember when it was a rip top? Many a cut fingers and hands on those grenades.

Still like a big mouth every so often.

    Enjoy

Lone Star may be most like Miller High Life on that list to my taste ... huge corn grain bomb.

I'm sometimes shocked by how much I like most AALs. But it's not a put on. I really do enjoy them, and it's kind of cool seeing I'm not alone among many of you good BAs.

Being totally honest, anymore I would rather have a low rated beer or hell even some AALs than many IPAs. I got more enjoyment recently out of an Epic Los Locos than I did the much higher rated IPA I had before it.

Maybe some local-made Patagonia bohemian pilsener or amber lager are very underrated but I like them

Saranac Lake Effect was a damn good beer. Their Winter Pack usually has a gem or two.
