Lower Falls Wine Co - Newton

    Just a head's up, saw that Lower Falls Wine Co in Newton has Frangelic Mountain Brown and Brux on the shelf for 17 each. Also a bunch of styro shippers by the trash.

    How is their selection overall? I have often driven by that store when I am in the area but never thought to go in.

    i have never been impressed by their beer selection. As for wine, they often have interesting wines, not usually found in other stores.

    Beer selection is, in my opinion, just fine. It's well curated, but by and large I would call it a wine-lovers beer selection, not terribly large and is not generally a place I would look to for hot new releases. Wine is, obviously, their bread and butter. That said... they have (had?) FMB on the shelf... and all of their beer is kept cold, which is nice.

    Still a ton of styro out back there if any traders need boxes.
