We’re heading back to NY and staying a few blocks from OH Rockefeller Oct 21-24. So I’ll take any advice on lower Manhattan as well. Outside of the museum and history, which we don’t take lightly. We don’t know much in the area.

Appreciate all of you. We love the city

You have a Talea location close by as well as Craft and Carry, Beer Run and City Beer.
About a 20 minute walk over towards the Hudson you have As Is, which is another good beer bar option.

Yes!!! That’s the one we had on our list we didn’t make it to in February. As is!

The best options have been mentioned already but Torch & Crown, Carmine St Beers, and Blind Tiger are probably the closest to Lower Manhattan.

Depends what you mean by Lower Manhattan, but NY Beer Dispensary on 14th on the west side is one of the newer places and they always have an impressive selection, always updated on Untappd too. If you're doing the High Line it could probably be stopped by without going out of the way.

Closer to your hotel, if you end up east closer to Grand Central check out City Beer, always one of the better taplists around, usually have something from Fidens or Root+Branch. Pricey even for NYC standards, but these days everything is.

The other side of midtown As Is is great and open later than many other craft bars.

Further downtown I'll echo Blind Tiger and Carmine Street, also Proleteriat, Alphabet City Beer, Beer Run, Augurs Well. If you're around Little Italy this place Grotta Azurra is a pretty average Italian restaurant but always has a great taplist.

All things being equal I'd skip Torch & Crown, honestly the only Manhattan brewery taproom worth visiting for the beer itself is Other Half. You'll get much better stuff at any beer bar than T&C/Talea/Sixpoint.
