Lovin me some Lucky 13 this summer. $3.99 bombers at the local.

Want to try my hand at a clone. Anyone have tips on this big red? Especially yeast selection.

Me thinks its not Cal Ale.....

Lagunitas is fond of using wyeast London ESB yeast. It's been a few months since I've had a bottle but it is damn tasty!!

For a simple red/amber ale grist I like:
86% Two row pale malt. (Brewers malt I use)
    8% C-60
    4% Victory
    2% Pale chocolate.

Won't necessarily clone lucky 13 but is a nice amber base.
