New supermarket out of Colorado that has recently come to FL. They have one in Naples, Gainesville and just opened in Coral Springs. Later this year they are coming to Tallahassee, Orlando, Melbourne, a few other spots and most important to me, Plantation only about a mile from my house. Anyway, I've visited their store in Coral Springs twice. When you walk in they have a cafe to the right that has pints of craft beer for only $2. On tap they had Saltwater Sea Cow milk stout, FB Floridian, Oskar Blues Dale's Pale Ale and Mama Lil Yella Pils and a few others. You can also pair your pint of beer with 2 slices of pizza from the deli area for $5. On one side of the store they have a pretty extensive beer selection similar to the selection at Whole Foods. However, prices overall were a tad cheaper for some beers, and the same for others. I did find a steal though: Goose Island Lolita - a very good beer but not one that I would normally pay $20 for (765 mL) - which is the price at Total Wine or ABC - on sale for $7.99. Not sure if this was a mistake or they are just unloading them at cost but I grabbed two. Some of their other large bottles were priced nicely. Nothing rare but I will definitely stop in again soon for a $2 pint and to check for beer deals. The store is good too...it's like a Trader Joe's or Whole Foods with cheaper prices. They will open later this year in shopping center at corner of University & Peters in Plantation where the old Whole Foods used to be. Cheers y'all!
