I'll actually be up there all weekend for my bachelor party, so I might stop by to get some tomorrow. I've never had any Steel Toe and this beer sounds amazing.

 

In past releases at Steel Toe, its usually two separate lines, one for cash and the other for plastic

 

Make the trip worth your while and try a bunch of their stuff plus all the other great breweries in the area that you might not have been to like Minneapolis Town Hall, Fair State, Bauhaus, Barley John's, Sisyphus, and Hammerheart (in order of best to least best in my personal opinion).

Looking forward to grabbing some Lunker today! I haven't had it before, and I've really enjoyed what Steel Toe is doing in general.

 

To add to THANAT0PSIS's list, Dave's Brewfarm is open this weekend as well. It's in Baldwin, WI and is just off of I-94 if you're driving.

I've been to Town Hall, and I'd love to try all those recommended, but I wasn't part of any of the planning for the weekend so I don't have a clue what we're doing. I've heard good things about Size 7 so I'll be trying that for sure. So much beer, so little time. But I'm a native and I'm back all the time so I'll get my fill eventually.

I might have stopped at Dave's Brewfarm on my way up tomorrow, but I'll be passing through in the morning and they don't open till 3pm on Saturday. If we get some downtime, I'll definitely be looking into those other breweries. Thanks for the recommendations!

 

Dave's is really cool, so if you do find time, hit it. Beer is good to great and it's such a cool location with cooler people. No problem!

 

Smart move, you won't be disappointed. Fresh Size 7 is marvelous.

 

They take cards, FYI. Steady steam of people buying, some people grabbing whole cases but there is a ton of it.

Beer is still cold but it is tasty. Really big barrel character. Pretty sure this is my first time every trying lunker tho

 

I'm the guy sitting by himself watching people dart their eyes all around the room.

How did you get it all home on your bike?

 

Steady stream of people here some buying 2-3 others buying 2 cases had a pour was a touch too cold when warmed so good its more barrel forward this year very tasty

 

I felt it reeks of barrel (in a good way), but is so smooth.

 

For sure The BA is very present in this BW more so than in the past its smooth and delicious

 

Agree it's a bit cold but it is rather tasty.
