How didn't I get it all home on my bike is the question you should be asking...

Dang, we missed you loading all of it up. Only saw you with one box, wish I would have gotten to see you load it all up.

It's a beast of a beer, but very smooth flavors, love the color too. I bought 3 bottles, opened one today and am going to sit on the other 2 for awhile. Also, kudos to the guy in front of me in line who bought 16 bottles, I was impressed!!!

Heard they weren't done filling bottles, so doubt it solely based on that.

Here's what I noticed yesterday. Lots of people were buying beer in large quantities...most of the the time I heard them say they were picking some up for friends. That is cool. They had no limits and it think that kept the line down and also kept it from being a shit show. If they did something like 4 per person it may have been a long day

I think they also learned from previous releases and/or have a lot. When they did 4 bottles, it sat around and people still got their 6, case or more, just spread over time.

I suspect a large stock will be knocked out over this weekend, but it will still linger for a bit as most of us beer geeks have gotten what we wanted.

Being selfish here as I only hope Steel Toe the best, but I dread the day if they blow up beyond the Twin Cities. I like being able to easily get their amazing beer.

Did they mention bottling this? I'd just assumed this was an old keg they'd dusted off for Craft Beer Week but would be happy to be proven wrong. If Steel Toe is reading, I'd love for Dawn Juan to be resurrected and bottled next, please.

Not bad. Heard they sold about 900 bottles yesterday. Steady stream when I was there today around 4, not as bad as yesterday around the same time. Also seemed like a lot less going out the door today compared to yesterday.

Looks like this will be around for a bit.

Beginning to sound like I picked a good week to trade for my first Steel Toe bottles... can't wait to try some of these beers.

Maybe I should have traded for two Lunkers... is this a beer that a person should age a little? I was planning on drinking it fairly soon.

It is drinking great right now, I would say age is not needed. If you want a second bottle to age, you should have no problem getting one.

To me it is very good fresh, but absolutely sublime with a year or three on it.

This is one of only a handful of beers that I won't touch a bottle until 2016. By all means try one fresh so you have a baseline, but I'd definitely hang onto one if I were you.

I have not had the new batch yet, but I opened a couple from the first batch over the past several months and they were notably better than fresh. I felt the same way about the Before the Dawn I opened recently.

I always try one of everything fresh, and will do so with this newest batch since there was some variation in the first two batches (IMO), but I suspect I will be in the same camp as maximum and stashing my others in a dusty corner for a couple years so I'm not tempted to crack them.
