Macniven's FFF's Tap Takeover (TONIGHT May 14)

I JUST now walked in front of MacNivens and noticed the chalk sandwich-board sign.... I swear I thought it read that FFF is tomorrow or Thursday. Tonight is "All 12 taps of USA Beers only!" I would call first... BTW, they are doing a Sunking Tap take Over with a hand pull and Firkin one of the days this week. If you call, please post results. Thanks.

From MacNiven's, 3 FFF Tap Takeover is Wednesday! Sun King on Thursday. Hoosier Beer Geek mis-posted, posted 3 F Event twice by accident.

 

I'm impressed that there is enough 3 Floyds in the state to take over any taps.

 

i think i am gonna try and make it to Macnivens Wednesday night for this....should be awesome to see what FFF brings....12 taps, i'm intrigued for sure....

 

the firkin of sun king is Grapefruit Jungle....mmmm

 

BA Moloko and Robert the Bruce have been on tap at the brewpub recently, so I hope that means that local bars will be getting a keg or two in the near future.

 

According the Hoosier Beer Geek via WCB, the full lineup for tomorrow is Alpha King, Robert The Bruce, Gumballhead, Pride and Joy, Zombie Dust, Jinx Proof, Al-Dabeyoun, Arctic Panzer Wolf, Dreadnaught, Behemoth, Topless Wytch, and Blackheart.

 

It's Wednesday, yeah. The mis-post was actually WCB, for the record - their google calendar is/was integrated with ours.

 

the sun king firkin is actually Timmie and the Grapefruit Jungle is going to be on the hand pull....i had that mixed up earlier

 

Went there today for lunch. Waitress checked and said that they would likely be putting the four regulars on closer to open, but the rarer ones (Topless Wytch, ZD) on closer to five. She said they only have a 1/6 barrel of ZD, for whatever that's worth.

 

Umm, what time are they tapping the Vanilla DL?? Maybe 7:00??

 

wish i could go to both tap takeovers at macnivens, but it looks like i will be at the Sun King one on thursday....damn responsibilities....

 

I'm heading over around 5:30 if anyone wants to meet up.
