I have a meeting near Lake Orion tomorrow. I plan to have lunch at 51 North but that is mostly it on my schedule. Any new places I should check out before heading back to GR? I have been to Dragonmead, Kuhnhenn, Griffin Claw and most of the places that have been open for a while. Looking for something new. Thanks.

I'm not sure what route you'll be taking, but if I had to guess you'll need to head back to I-75 from Lake Orion which means you could swing by Clarkston Union. Certainly not new, and not a brewery, but it is worth checking out IMO. The place is a converted old church so the structure is cool, the food is awesome, and most importantly the tap list is generally on point...

I really have no direction. I may go to the Tigers game or may just head back. Probably 96 on the way home.

Have not been, but River's Edge just opened in Milford. Sounded pretty good. It's near Witch's Hat in South Lyon, both reachable from 96 on the way home.

i was going to suggest this as well. the Union always has a nice taplist and the food is fantastic. the woodshop is also worth considering especially if you like BBQ, beer, or bourbon.
