    Hey All,
I write beer menus for restaurants and was recently tasked with creating one for a new location opening in Atlanta, Georgia. I have to say I am super impressed with the awesome local craft scene, but I'm missing just one thing... a regional macro beer to please the fizzy yellow "I'll have a stella" drinkers. Haven't had any luck finding one but any help would be much appreciated. Thanks and cheers!

I can't believe I'm suggesting this Budweiser product but what about Wicked Weed Lunatic Blond.

I believe both green man and hi wire are available in Atlanta, they both make a lager. You could always use Yuengling.

Sweetwater Blue or Take Two Pils?

I think Take Two Pils is retired. Terrapin Sound Czech is an option, I actually just went out with someone this weekend that said Stella was their go to and they really liked Eventide Kolsch.

Terrapin is as close as you'll get to a regional macro here.

There is Red Hare's Long Day Lager. A long time ago I worked in a bar with only local beers on draft that was also near a convention center and this made a good go to for International travelers looking for a lager.

I would suggest Currahee Wayah Lager. It's our familiar gateway beer, available year-round from Atlanta Beverage, and is brewed by yours truly just across the GA border in Franklin, NC.
If you want to give it a shot first, Greens, Tower, and the like are a great option, as is our sister brewery in Alpharetta, Hop Alley. Cheers!

    Prince of Pilsen as well.

Could be on the Take Two Pils. No one had mentioned Sweetwater so I just went on stuff I'd had in the past. It's... been a while since I had Sweetwater though.

Wild Heaven's Emergency Drinking Beer (Pils style session) is by and large the go to local, widely distributed but 'less adventurous' beer preferred by bars and restaurants across ATL with decent beer menus

Also, Sierra Nevada Nooner Pilsner would be a good macro and has the 'regional' appeal brewing out of the Asheville facility

Awesome guys thanks for all the replies. These all look like awesome beers but maybe I wasn't specific enough... Looking for something that I can charge $3-$4 for a pint, ideally less than $100/ keg. Up here we have Genesee, Lionshead, Narragansett, etc etc.
Anything like that? Think cheap beer that's not made by AB-InBev or MillerCoors. Thanks again!

Sweetwater 420 is, and remains, the unofficial beer of ATL. IMHO. YMMV.

What size keg? All those listed are below $100 for a 1/6bbl (except Prince of Pils, it's only sold in 1/4bbl). For a 1/2bbl, you won't find any craft that cheap.
