    Hi, im trying to make a clone versin of this beer for my dad, but ive never had it, was wondering if anyone in the area is familiar enough with this beer to give me an idea for a starting point recipe? thanks

    I believe their Holiday seasonal, Humbug'r, is a rebottling of it. Not a 100% on that though.

    I can recall this Porter pretty well, though it's been retired 2-3 years now. One idea might be to contact Pyramid/Mac's directly (Portland) and simply explain your situation and ask a brewer there to help... If it's 'retired', they might share the recipe... stranger things have happened! http://www.macsbeer.com/contact . You could also ask them whether boMD's speculation re: this is accurate.
