My wife and I are planning our annual vt trip for later this summer. Besides our usual stays in Burlington and Waterbury areas, we are hoping to do a night in the warren/waitfield/sugarbush area. I seem to recall there being a post in one of the threads about a place near waitsfield that also had a great bar attached. In doing some research I'm not sure if this was the place:

Any help or suggestions would be great. Thanks!

In looking a bit more I do not think that was the place. Definitely remember there actually being private rooms/baths.

From my own personal experience I can recommend the Yellow Farmhouse Inn in Waitsfield.

I usually don’t love B&B’s because they’re too quirky/odd. This was the first B&B I really liked. It’s a nice place to be with the wife. The owners rock, their homemade breakfasts are high quality. It’s about 6-7 miles from the Warren Store, 5 miles to Sugarbush mtn area, and 1 mile from Mad Taco…just give you an idea.

This place has a nice bar attached that usually has Lawson's on tap. I do not know how the accomadations are though. It used to be a condo place that was just ok.

The Hostel Tevere in Waitsfield has a couple of private rooms. Inexpensive, bar on-pemises with lots of Lawsons on-tap, and very good food. Excellent for budget - minded beercationers.

It looks to be straight up euro hostel. Won't work for my wife and I unfortunately. We may stop to check out the bar though

Check out the Mad River Barn. Stayed there for Lawson's Party last year. Great place.

So they have no association with the powederhound. I spent many a good night in their outdoor hot tub in the winter.

OP if you have any questions about hiking or mountain biking in the area let me know. We usually spend 2 weeks a year or more in the valley. You need to earn those great beers.
