So, I made a thread a while ago saying I found Madewest Hazy pretty damn good for the price and growing availability (9.99 a four pack in TD Joe's). I recently had a four pack of their Pale for 7.99 and their Haze for 9.99, both two weeks old, and they were really impressive. Best deal around, other than Blazing World Nelson/ Mythic World, which Whole Foods sells for 9.99 a four pack, and which is very good as well. Highly recommend it.
Last time I was in Ventura I meant to stop by there, but twas not to be. Next time for sure. The half dozen or so beers that I've tried by them have been pretty solid.
When fresh, their Pale Pale (especially at around $8/4-pack) is absolutely delicious. I didn’t feel the same about their Hazy though.
I agree. When I see their Pale and/or IPA fresh, I buy it. My local shop though, their stock is usually 6+ months old.
