I really enjoyed their Vanilla Imperial Porter and would love to get another taste of that. Also cool to see they are releasing another batch of their BA Barleywine next month.
I always liked Hopburst too. Most of their limited series have been solid. I always forget about these guys when talking about Iowa breweries, but other than the pale ale and the wheat, I usually like them.
It's also cool to see their newly tweaked Coffee Stout recipe now uses Sumatra beans roasted locally by Zanzibar. I still need to make it down to their taproom and check it out. I always forget about it. I think they could benefit from doing a bit more with social media to promote it!
Agreed, but isn't this the grand opening? They've been producing there for a while but pretty sure this is the grand opening for the taproom
