Man, took me half an hour just to get through that list.
Top priorities for me are CW at the Malt House on the 1st and pretty much everything happening at the Vintage, especially the barrel beers on the 9th.
Toppling Goliath vs CW at Blue Moon could be interesting, and the Colorado day at Mr. Brews is tempting too, several Avery and Left Hand beers on my list to try.

Lake Louie wins the 'Stay Classy' award for having a release party for The Twins at a strip club.

Couple of nice events at Trixxies. Get me some goose island. Going to check out surly also. So much to try and so little time to do it. Enjoy all!

Last year I got to try King Sue at the Craftsman. May try to hit up some of the sour take overs.

Brickhouse was selling King Sue by the pitcher last year. That was a nice afternoon.

Not a huge Lake Louie fan, but now I want to go to this event just to balance out the above sort of reaction.

Get your beer palate ready, because there are SIX brews to choose from. Woody will be carting in Deschutes' Black Butte Porter, Twilight Summer Ale, Fresh Squeezed IPA, Foray IPA, Jubel 2015, and a super exclusive 'pub-only' brew are also making the journey. Woody and his brewery friends won't be out there all alone. They'll have some live music to accompany them on the patio from 5-9pm. Great craft beer with some great patio tunes. This is definitely a TGIF moment!

    Next Door Brewing:
Saugatuck Brewing Company is already creating a buzz in their home state of Michigan. This will be their debut Wisconsin tapping. The beers they will be bringing, Day Walker Black IPA, Beam Me Up Stouty, Mandarina IPA, Big Bertha Barley Wine, Barrel Aged Reverent Monk Triple, and the Neapolitan Milk Stout!

    Saturday, May 9:

    Blue Moon:
Beastly Bourbon with Abita: Saturday, May 9th

Abita brings the Bourbon with Pappy Aged barrels alongside other heavy hitters to yield 14 BBA Taps and a Cask!

We got the opportunity to raid the Abita Storehouse and came away with some cellared gems to wrap up beer week with. In addition to FIVE different Abita barrel aged masterpieces and a BA Cask, The Blue Moon is raiding it’s own cellar storage and is upping the ante with NINE of its own Barrel Aged kegs. Expect to see some heavy hitters from the likes of Goose Island, Founders, Central Waters, and others. It’s good to have friends… and for this one, a Designated Driver! Ohh, did we mention that more than half of Abita’s offerings used Pappy Van Winkle Barrels?

    Vintage (1-5):
Bourbon barrel stouts, Brettanomyces barrel-soured strong ales, brandy and rum-aged Abbeys, funky wild experimental brews...it's all good in the wood! We're rolling out the serious show-stoppers for our once a year barrel fest. It includes, the full monty of Vintage Brewing Company barrel-aged side projects (most of which have rarely, if ever, been released publicly), as well as a healthy assortment of our brewer friends' barrel-aged specialties. Not to be missed! (Full beer list available closer to the event date- check back soon!)

    Cooper’s Tavern (5pm-11:59pm):
House favorites Founders Brewing Company and Madison newcomers Surly Brewing Company invade our tap lines, each one taking over 14 lines! This will be an event not to be missed. Stay tuned for details.

Last Sunday at Dexter's was pretty awesome....Founders, Evil Twin, and Perennial Artisan Ales Tap Take over. I believe each had 7 beers there.

They had a barrel of Founders Canadian Breakfast Stout and it lived up to the hype

Also had a barrel of Abraxas from Perennial and that was quite tasty as well.

Anyone seen the taplist for Surly/Founder's at Cooper's tonight? I'm sure Darkness, Pentagram, KBS, CBS, Backwoods, etc. I wonder if there will be any surprises?

I had lunch at Coopers today. Nothing too special. They had Darkness. Ran out of Eight around 1pm. Some other good stuff from Surly but nothing rare from what I could tell.

Blushing Monk from Founders and Backwoods Bastard. No KBS or CBS.

Did anyone have GI Illinois on tap? I've had it several times, bottle and tap and enjoyed it most times. Last time, however, it was awful.

Tasted like rubbing alcohol. Not sure if it was a bad batch or what. Just curious if anyone else noticed this.
