Any must stop bottle shops to stop at while I'm in town?

You need to go to Star liquors and Trixies. Only 10 minutes from each other. I always find many treats there not available in Illinois and good people at both places.

Jennifer St. Market, Riley's Wine, Steve's on University, and Steve's on Junction all have great selections too.

How's the flow of three Floyd's beer into Madison ? And if it exists where are the places to get some...bars, stores?.

Steve's x3, Star, Riley, HyVee x2, Trixies, Woodmans x2, Jennifer St, Harleys, Alpine

All of those also likely have 3F, except for maybe Harleys

Slim to none. Pretty sure they've both been gone for months. BA Scotch maybe, I'm not exactly sure whether it came out for real yet or not.

BB scotch ale is out everywhere that I've seen. Hopefully the next shipment is bigger.

is this still a relevant list for bottle shop recommendations in Madison? driving to Amherst for Black Gold and thinking of hitting Madison while i am out there.

    thanks.

    thanks.

is Trixies the best place to find 3F bombers? just doing a little research, seemed like it was the place to find them. or are they readily available in the area?

You mean three floyd's? Yes, they are readily available at most of these places including Trixies. In fact, there was huge drop of bombers from them all around madison last week.

Yes, a little chance. I got 2 at Steve's on Junction on Thursday. 2 bottle limit. Probably long gone by now but maybe.

Couple other places that I would suggest (even though the OP has already come and gone by many moons):

HyVee near East Washington (US-151) and Stoughton Rd (US-51) rivals the Milwaukee St Woodman's (can usually find more TG bombers there, at least), but isn't as all-encompassing as the Sun Praire or West Town Woodman's. EDIT: Didn't see that HyVee was mentioned above!

Cannery Wine and Spirits in Sun Prairie on Main St. will occasionally have some unique bombers and small format bottles. Found some of the Bell's Planet series there once upon a time. Though, it's a solid 30min from downtown Madison.

    Cheers!
