I am going to be in Chicago the weekend of the 15th in the Magnificent Mile section of the city. Any recommendations in that general area? Any place that allows children is a must (10 year old daughter). Looking for a brewpub or nice craft bottle shop. Thanks in advance.

Never been there personally, but they are supposed to have 120+ beers on tap, plus an impressive bottle list.

It's smack dab in the middle of where you're going to be....

Hey- Howells And Hood. @Tribune Tower. 150 taps. Largest patio in the city. Perfect location. Binny's South Loop or Warehouse Liquors on Wabash for bottles. Have fun!

    rock bottom
    jake melnick's
    timothy o'toole's
    howell's & hood

all are restaurants with lengthy draft lists. rock bottom if you don't know already is a brewpub. as an example, my last visit at jake melnick's (~ a month ago) i ordered a whiskey barrel aged yeti; and my last visit at o'toole's they had both parabola and bcs on tap (last week).

as for bottle shops, binny's on grand is your best bet with location in mind (Grand & Franklin). it's about a 10 minute walk off michigan; jake's and o'toole's are both ~5 minute walks. not much exists directly on the mag mile except for howell's and hood.
