Mahrs -- Tradition, Newness...and a Falloff?

    While the verbiage of "not uncommon" may be applicable it is much more common for the beers at a local brewery's taproom to be produced there.

    There are lots of exceptions. For example, these days I think the only wheat beers brewed at the breweries in Bamberg are Keesmann and Ambräusianum. And credible people have told me the Mahrs E.T.A. Hoffmann Dunkel is brewed elsewhere (though it is not on tap at the brewery). Mahrs does still brew Der Weisse Bock and used to brew their own regular wheat beers.

    Thinking on it, I guess I don't know if Kaiserdom brews their own wheat beers, so maybe add one to the list.
