I have a friend in Maine for the week, she said she would pick me up some beers. What are some good easy to get locals and other New England area beers I can't tell her to look for. Any help would be much appreciated. I'm into pretty much all styles . Thanks.
I would go for anything Allagash, Rising Tide (MITA cans), send her to Maine Beer Company and get either or all of lunch/MO/Tiny Beautiful something, foundation brewing growlers. All of these items can be found at "the bier cellar" in Portland Maine. Google it and tell your friend to go there and get all the goods
Maine Beer co. Dinner is released 7/31 and is definitely worthwhile. Also bissel bros. the substance.
If you're in the area on that day it won't be hard...just a quick run up to the brewery. Bissel you've just got to arrive near opening. Either way I wouldn't say ether are very hard to get but whatever.
