Hello New Yorkers. I will be in NYC for a few weeks and am looking forward to checking out all the local places. I've been following Beer Menus for awhile and notice that Peerper Ale has showed up now and then. Does anyone know if Lunch is available here in the city anywhere? And if it might show up, what are the most likely places to get it? I'd be interested in either bottles or draft - I just really want to try this beer! Any leads would be appriciated
I would recommend checking out either New Beer Distributors or Whole Foods Bowery Beer Room as the best possibilities for picking it up - I have found other Maine beers at those locations.
Check out the website for Half Time, they may still have it. I was at their store in Poukepsie about three weeks ago and saw that and the Peeper Ale on their shelves. EDIT: Nevermind, they only have the Peeper Ale listed, Sorry Jen.

I saw it on the shelf at Port Chester Beer Distributors last week, it's in Westchester County though. The Rye Metro North stop is about 2 miles from their location. He got 2 or 3 cases in from the 3/22 batch, just give them a call before you trek out there, obviously, but they did have it.
Deciccos Pelham has Lunch but I dont recall the exact date, I do remember it being older (Feb/March-ish?) as I passed on it.
