    Hey All,

I live in MN and my sister is coming back from the Boston area in September and I am trying to find a couple of bottles of Maine Brewing Co. Lunch IPA.

Does anyone know of a good liquor store around the Burlington, Woburn area were she could pick a few bottles up at? Thanks

Bottles only come out every few months and sell out fairly quickly. She could probably find something between now and September but by the time it gets to you it probably won't be too fresh.
If she can't find lunch have her get MO, Peeper or Zoe. All are good.

Thanks for the help, I figured just as much. I tried Lunch at the Publick House when I was out there in April and it was awesome! Was hoping to get some to bring back. Zoe sounds pretty good and fairly accessible.

All the Maine Brewing beers are great. Just have her pick up whatever is on the shelves. A little pricey but worth an occasional splurge, especially if you're outside the region.

Others should chime in as well, but a few good shops for her to go to that are somewhat close are Acton Wine & Spirits, Colonial Liquor (also in Acton), or Berman's in Lexington. Between the three of them, you should at least be able to find some Peeper or Zoe. The others can come and go quickly, but I see them pop up in places every now and then. A fresh batch of Zoe just landed too.

The good news is that they are starting to date their bottles. If I'm going to pay that much, I want to know if its fresh. If she doesn't see a bottle date, it is getting way too long in the tooth to be worth it. Have her grab you some Hoponious Union by Jack's Abby too. Great value, and another local market great beer from a brewery in MA that is only 1 year old.

I got a bottle of it a month ago @ Crossroads Beer & Wine in Burlington with no fuss. Really need to time it right, there is no rhyme or reason when it becomes available.

That said, I didn't think it was worth the hype & hoopla surrounding it.

My opinion of Lunch has decreased with the last few batches, I actually like Zoe better now.

MO is my favorite from their lineup.

I e-mailed Crossroads as that is down the street from where she works. They said they ran out right away but have all there other stuff. From the sounds of things I will be hard pressed to find some. I will probably have here just pick up a bottle or two of Zoe for me.

    Thanks everyone

If you like Porter or Stouts give Mean Old Tom a try. I thought that was fantastic.
