I went to Banded Horn in Biddeford last weekend and had a great time. Good selection with eight taps, and the only local Rauchbier to boot. Ping pong table, foosball table, cornhole set, cards, and board games all in the taproom. Looks like there is a Portland Pie Co in the same mill building so you're in good shape there.

Anyone know if Maine allows retail beer sales on Memorial Day?

That's like saying go on match.com dating site and state you want only 9s and 10s. If only it were that easy.

Maine beer company to grab some lunch and others. Then Allagash sort some Wit, cool ship, curious and other great Belgians. If up into Brunswick, I really recommend Ebenezeers. Try the filthy rich there. They have growler fills but you cannot get filthy. The great lost bear in Portland is a great bar.

Going to be up in Portsmouth for a wedding during Labor Day. Thanks for the suggestions. Was thinking about making the drive up to oxbow in Newcastle. Was wondering it is worth it. Also any good beaches or cool outdoors stuff between Portsmouth and Oxbow/Portland

I've been to Oxbow in Newcastle and their tasting room in Portland. Love both but Newcastle is another 45-60 minutes from Portland, sometimes more in summer based on traffic on route 1.

Whether it's worth it for me is pretty subjective. Lots of cool outdoors stuff between Portsmouth and Portland. What kind of stuff are you into?

Into everything from hiking, waking cool beaches, to renting some kayaks. Would love to go fly fishing but not going to drag my stuff up
