Planning to head to Portland again this summer and realized that there will be a Maine Brewer's Guild beerfest in town that weekend. My main question, for anyone who has gone... is the VIP ticket worth it? At the MI summer beerfest it is a similar set-up, skip the line, get in an hour early, but the Maine festival mentions that only specific breweries are pouring during this VIP hour and they're asked to bring session beers for it. I'm planning to buy the VIP ticket as it'll probably be the only time I go to this festival, but just curious what to expect. Cheers!
