biggest question I have is do either of these two breweries fill other companies glass? If so what sizes, do I need my own caps? Think I can find the rest of the info I may need via Facebook for both. Are wait times usually long at noon?

    Thanks

They both fill any growler. Kane will also fill 750s but they charge you for a 32 oz, as far as caps not sure I only do swing top but I sure they have caps lying around. I always go towards opening so lines are never bad. Carton is a pain for samples when it's crowded, Kane is much better for sampling and they've had a ton on tap lately. Have fun and enjoy!

I didn't get my growlers filled (I did not bring them), so I can't answer that. But both places do sell bottles and/or cans.

There was no wait when I went there opening time on Sunday at Carton & an hour later at Kane (Early October).

Carton is probably best to hit right at noon as it's small and gets pretty crowded later in the day. Kane is much bigger and though it can get crowded there is a lot of space and easier to get pours and find a spot.

You should be aware heading in that you'll be limited to a sampler and larger pours of only one (maybe two?) offering. At Kane, you'll have more options in terms of small, medium or large pours. Both are great, but the experiences are definitely different.

Kane will provide caps for screw top growlers as needed.

I would also add that both will post on Facebook 1-2 hours before they open with what they have on tap (you need to be logged in to view Kane's). Both posts will show what they have on tap vs what they have for samples only. Carton should have 2-4 different cans whereas Kane will probably only be draft unless they have leftover Vengeful Heart or do a last minute OMFG release (at which point, get there immediately).

    Cheers!

I second this advice. Also, if you're planning on drinking at both places, I'd advise a DD or uber because there are a LOT of beers to sample at both places.
