Or the "Reinheitsgebook series". Friends shouldn't let me be drinking and posting.

Is there any doubt? Hops...with the glycosides and the hop cannon primer...I felt like Professor Frink

Seriously, I learned from and enjoyed all 3. Cheers.

I was incredibly disappointed with Water, so I've been a bit hesitant with ordering this one off the bat.

Water was a bit dry ...but, malt appears to be more reader friendly. There's always 1 chapter that is totally useless for homebrewers and #11 Malt Handling and Preparation is this book's "filler". I'm about 1/2 way through it and John Mallett seems like a really good story teller. Cheers

Mallett did a presentation on commercial equipment design and engineering for my ABG course and, while the topics covered weren't the most exciting for me personally, he is chock full of personality and clearly very knowledgeable!

“…he is chock full of personality…” I will second that! I attended his presentation on Malt at the 2013 NHC and that presentation was a twofer: lots of good information and a joy to attend.

    Cheers!

Arrived today. I just started the drewbage/Denny book. However, my new dog gets walked in my old reading time slot, and I find myself getting fewer pages read before my eyes glaze over and sleep claims me. It may be a while.
