If you consider it an IPA (I do), FFF Alpha King has a wonderful malt body to it. I've always preferred it over Zombie Dust for that reason.

Pipeworks DIPAs are known for being malt forward... and delicious.

A dfh 90 with 3-4 months age on it would probably work well for any ba who prefers a malt forward IPA. Once the hops fade them malt would shine, and Dfh drinks like a big beer at any age. I prefer fresh, but most IPAs will fade gracefully.

What part of PA are you in? While I haven't looked for this beer specifically because I just recently heard about it, I don't recall ever coming across it in my neck of the woods (Philly area); I like the artwork on the can so it would have probably stuck out to me.

Agree with all 3. Had chillwave for the first time this year and was surprised how malty it was. Still enjoyed but malty for sure.

Hop Devil can turn into a malt bomb quick if not consumed quickly
DFH90 is too malt forward for my liking.

Basicly any IPA that was being brewed pre 2010 will be more balanced and thus more malt forward

My easy access is because my BF lives in DC. Its primarily brewery release only but if they make a large batch, limited distro - Philly has had it on draft once or twice

These have a lot of biscuit-like sweetness. They're quite sweet in both bottles and fresh on tap.
Good entry-level IPAs IMHO. Approachable for anyone new to craft beer.

Okay, thanks! I will have to be on the lookout for it (or try it sometime when I am in DC).
