120 Minute or Double Crooked Tree. Nothing I've had is even close to those two.

I had 120 side by side with PtY and PtY was almost cloying in comparison. It made me feel like 120 was crap but I know its just a palate thing.

really? Heady Topper, Lawson's, and HF IPA's seem way less malty than most any west coast DIPA's I've had.

Aside from 120, I would say Dark Horse Double Crooked Tree.

if you like lots of hops with the malt to back it up, you'd probably be better off seeking out some American Barleywines. Like Stone Old Guardian, Great Divide Old Ruffian, Avery Hog Heaven, etc.

I agree on the American Barleywines, but, believe it or not, I do not find them sweet enough. PtY and Alpine Expo seems to hit the spot on super hoppy, super malty, and super sweet but they are available twice per year tops. I was really trying to find out some other alternatives. I know, crazy to think I can find an alternative to two world class beers.

Bigfoot. The fact that you have to let it sit for a couple years before it starts to taste like a Barleywine annoys me. It is a tasty beer though, and I enjoy it.
