Would 1lb in an all grain 5 gal batch be OK/sufficient?
    How about 1.5lb or 2lb?

Looking to add body, heft and feel

Any of those amounts will probably give you too much heft ...try 1/2 that depending on style

It's for a stout, looking for a very full chewy mouthfeel.

Also, have you used a full pound before? What were the results?

Generally up to 8 ounces per 5 gallons is recommended. It's your beer, you can add as much as you like but 8 ounces is the threshold for good reason.

There are plenty of ways to get a chewy body, maltodextrin is just one way. And it is not something you want to have a heavy hand with. You will end up with a maltodextrin beverage that resembles beer. Moderation is key in this instance.

    Cheers.

Thanks for the response, I definitely do not want to overdue it. Just wondering if anyone has actually used a pound and what the results were.
