$250 for 4 bottles? easy pass. unless it means you get 4 bottles per release, but then you dont know if its just 1 included and youre able to buy the other 3 or if all 4 are included.

    Wouldn't that be 16 bottles? (4 bottles 4 times a year?)

I think Mammoth has only bottled bombers before. If they're doing something different for this, those actually look like 500ml bottles and not 375s in that picture.

Didn't they do lair of the bear in 500ml bottles?

You're right. I must have been loopy late last night from the pain killers for my kidney stone. I meant to say 500ml (they look like the HPB bottles) but for some reason wrote 375. Thanks for catching that !

I still can't forgive them for changing the format sizes. It also seemed like they didn't even bother changing the prices. I remember getting the smaller bottled Blondibock and just wondering what I did to deserve this punishment.

I don't even think they adjusted the price either. Just straight up same cost for much less beer.

Yeah, if they adjusted the price at all it didn't come down much. I actually appreciate the new size, at least for high ABV beers, but it shouldn't be taken as an excuse to gouge people.

they are really hit or miss for me for all of their beers.

anyone have descriptions of the 4 beers? I can barely make out their names through the link. I kinda wish I joined this club

    Just got an email:

    Hello Members!

First off, I wanted to thank you all again for being part of the Bear Club. We are happy to have you all as members! I wanted to send out an update as things are starting to come together on our end. Your growlers and ID Cards are ready to be picked up. Please let me know when you would like to come pick them up so I can arrange everything. We are excited to announce that we have decided to make the first allocation of beers in 750ml bottles instead of 500ml bottles as a thanks to all of our members! Unfortunately with label approval the beer will be coming more towards the end of the month. I will keep you all updated when we get closer to the release of the beer. Thanks again everybody!

Curious to see if their sours are better than the rest of their offerings, which are average at best for my palate. YMMV

I do have a bottle of Lair of the Bear in my cellar that I'm hoping is at least decent.
