(MAMMOTH LAKES, CA – July 1, 2014) After almost two decades of quality craft beer production and the opening of a new tasting room earlier this year, Mammoth Brewing Company will be introducing a vibrant beer garden on July 3, 2014. This iconic Mammoth location will now provide visitors of the brewery an inside and outside area in which they can enjoy up to fourteen beers on tap, and a remarkable view of the Sierra Nevada’s Sherwin Range (locally known as The Sherwins).

The announcement comes as ticket sales for the brewery’s 19th Annual Mammoth Festival of Beers and Bluesapalooza Festival are at a record pace. The four-day festival includes offerings from 80+ craft breweries and performances from over 20 national bands from July 31 to Sunday, August 3, 2014. Sunday’s “Soulful Hangover Party” includes headlining performances by the legendary Buddy Guy, Ana Popovic, Quinn Sullivan, Dennis Jones and more. Other weekend headliners include John Hiatt and the Combo, Taj Mahal Trio, Robert Randolph and the Family Band, Tab Benoit, Reverend Peyton, Trampled Under Foot, Cash Box Kings and many more.

The beer garden will be open in summer months from 10 a.m. until dusk, seven days a week. It will accommodate individuals or parties of over a hundred people, with seating for approximately 70 people and standing room for roughly an additional 50-100 guests. Whether stopping by for a quick visit or joining a large group for a day full of relaxing beer tasting, the beer garden will offer it all to Mammoth Brewing Company’s loyal patrons.

In addition to sampling the variety of beer on tap, visitors will be able to purchase any of MBC’s award-winning beers. Locals and visitors may stop by on weekends or holiday period to enjoy pub food prepared by various food trucks and mobile food vendors to accompany the fine brew.

“It is our hope to produce a communal, welcoming atmosphere with the opening of this new beer garden and allow our customers to have a relaxing environment, enjoying all of the quality craft beer Mammoth Brewing Company has to offer,” said Sean Turner, co-owner of Mammoth Brewing Company. The beer garden expects to create the feel of a German beer garden by introducing wildflowers and trees to the outdoor seating area, providing guests with a peaceful area to unwind with their family, friends, as well as canine companions.

Over the years, Mammoth Brewing Company has become a popular attraction in the resort town of Mammoth Lakes, providing award-winning craft beers to residents and guests. The opening of the brewery’s new beer garden, in this breathtaking location, continues the tradition of excellence this high altitude brewery has provided its customers since 1995.
