Mammoth doesn't get much love on BA or a solid distribution, but this may be the best "Double Pale Ale" I've had. Reminds me of Double Daisy Cutter whereas Daisy Cutter is bigger on Grapefruit, and Devil's Post is bigger on Oranges. My Favorite beer from this brewery! Yum.

Anyone else with experience care to share whether positive or negative?

    Cheers!

Not yet, but now I have something to look forward too when I get there next week.

This is by far my favorite from Mammoth. I'm a fan of all of their offerings, but this one definitely stands shoulders above the rest.
I try to send them out as extras as much as possible. Their distribution is sporadic and not very reaching. I'm glad we get a lot of it down here in Bakersfield.

Had some last summer at Yosemite. It's great but expensive. Did they bottle a new batch?

Yeah they did. I paid around $7 a bomber. That's far from expensive, at least in my book.

That and the Dos Osos are my favorites from them. I didn't have high expectations when I tried their beers for the first time last summer since I hadn't heard anything all that positive about them but Devil's Post Pale was the first one I grabbed and I was seriously impressed. I was really bummed I went up earlier this summer and it wasn't ready yet.

I'm up here in Mammoth right now and tried a taster at the brewery. That beer really surprised me so I bought a bomber. Might have to get a couple more before I leave.

I love their Double Nut Brown and will be bring a bunch of that back with me.

Would a couple of 12 oz. bottles work or do you want a bomber?

Mammoth makes great beers. Really like their wild ale, nut brown, and Bluesapalooza 2011 and 2012

Yeah, Wild Sierra was an awesome surprise. They still have it on draft but are out of bottles. I hope they make it again and I'll have to stock up on it.

I like a handful of MBC beers, and this is one of them. Not to mention the awesome label art. Picked up this, the Bluesapalooza 2012, and a growler of the red ale last weekend. Good stuff.

We sold bottles of it. I wish I could get it year round. Awesome stuff...
