Any tips on the best store within 15-20 minutes? Looking for a place with growler options but not totally necessary if the selection is good. Most of my group prefers IPA's - nothing super exotic needed - just don't want something that's been sitting on the shelf for a year. This is what I've gathered so far:

    1. Spirits Unlimited on Route 37 (Crossroads): 12 taps
    2. Spirits Unlimited - Brick: 6ish taps
    3. Gerards Wine & Spirits - sometimes has Carton 077xx but no growler fills
    4. Ridgeway Liquors on 571. Been there once, nothing special but decent from what I remember

Also looks like I can't get Kane this far south either. Hoping I'm wrong on that.

    Appreciate the help!!

That list is about right (in that order). Crossroads usually has something from Kane and Carton on tap.

Pretty spot on with Spirits Crossroads being the best, and Kane does show up on tap. Might find bottles occassionally, I have found bottles at the Spirits in Manahawkin (which is pretty good if you're ever down that way). With Ridgeway, they've gotten a much bigger selection than they used to and have some good beer managers. No growlers, but if you're looking for fresh, stand over by the beer section looking lost, and when someone asks if you need help just ask what's fresh. Always something hoppy and freah, but I would check date codes if they didn't tell you specifically that it was fresh. Also, if you're looking for Spellbound IPA, they usually have it in the cooler, and it is always fresh because it seems to sell out quick when they get it.

Also, forgot to add, but you might also want to check out the Wine Academy in Lakewood, it is on 70 in the Home Depot plaza. They don't have a huge amount of beer space but they do have some good stuff and some passionate beer managers. I have found some hard to find stuff there.

Very helpful - thanks. Does anyone know if the Spirits app is updated regularly and is accurate?

It is fairly accurate. Whenever I go to crossroads or Manahawkin most or all taps were there, I'm assuming anything missing has recently kicked. I think the prices are for 64oz growlers, and 32oz are usually a little more than half the listed price.
