So I must admit I'm pretty new to kegging and co2 lines and such. I have 1 regular sanke keg hooked up and is running just fine, but when attempting to connect a second line using a manifold, as soon as I turn on the co2 to the ball lock keg, beer shoots up the co2 line of both the corny keg and the sanke keg. I will note the corny keg isn't carbed as it is a still cider, so I'm assuming that may be part of the issue. Another separate problem is that it seems everyone of my ball locks, both gas and beer are leaking, and I have the pins on as tight as possible. I feel like having none of them work has to be more user error than a problem with the locks
Sounds like you don't have check valves on your manifold? You need those! http://www.micromatic.com/beer-questions/co2-regulators-check-valves-aid-110.html Here's a few options: http://www.homebrewing.org/search.asp?keyword=check+valve I assume the ball lock kegs are used prior to you? Did you replace the O-Rings? It's a good idea to do so. Also, are you sure that it is the keg side that is leaking, that it's not a leak out of the QD that is on the post?
