Is this really trading for some of the threads I've been seeing? I'm trying to gauge what to offer. I understand the high price tag but it was a 12 bottle release and is still available right? What type of beers would be a fair $4$ trade? Would a combination of some Backwoods Bastard, BCBS and some local stuff from Carton and Kane in Jersey pull off anything? Or does it take bigger guns?
I'm not sure that's going to do it, unless you find sympathetic eyes that just want those beers. I've been keeping an eye on what the trades have looked like that have included TX beers, and what I'm seeing is people wanting 3 Jester King 500ml fruited sours for 2 MoS. $ wise thats correct, but the rarity is massively off, but I haven't seen anyone move off that position yet. Good luck, but this one seems to be asking a lot right now (those fruits!)
Kind of what I thought on my offer. I agree with you about some of the posts...on for $4$ off on rarity/availability. Is what it is.
Had it on draft at Rare Barrel when I was there in September...it was fantastic! Would throw some stuff out there for it and see if you get any bites!
Sorry OP, I think you'll have a rough time with that. You might be able to pull it with mass BCBS, but doubt the others would change anyone's mind. Best of luck!
