I've seen the many postings about MBCP and admit I'm really interested in trying this beer. It got me thinking, from someone who isn't a big stout fan, are there others similar to this that are available in the NYC region? Seems like its trading pretty high right now so I'd rather not send away a bunch of beer if I can get something similar to try. But, maple and bacon, in a beer? Sounds pretty good to me

My opinion trade for it! Beers fantastic and if you find the right person not asking for you left nut you can get it for a pretty reasonable offer. Especially with ammo available near you. Cheers!

It's a great porter and one that I think a non dark beer lover would enjoy. The asking price is a little high but if you have the ammo I think it's worth it. One of the best smelling beers out there.

If you can try CBS tomorrow at Top Hops that's another maple / breakfast brew worth trying.

I've heard of Hipster Brunch...what did you end up trading the MBCP for?

I have had both and have both. They are very different tasting beers although they sound the same.

@MWolverines66 I figured that they would be much different although descriptions were very similar.. I would love to do a side by side.. send me a message if one of the Hipster Brunch is FT

@Bigklip74 I just traded one of the two about 10 mins ago. I have one left, but I went to school in Mich, so i can reach out to see if anyone has more. Will keep you posted if I get more, or if I do a side-by-side.

It's by no means exactly the same but Sunday Brunch from Kane might scratch that itch. You'll have to go to the brewery tho and I'm not sure if its technically around at the moment but it has been pretty frequently in the last year I think.
