Where can I find some Maple Bacon Porter in Central Florida, ie Lakeland, Orlando or Tampa?

You can't. It will supposedly be bottled once the brewery opens and brews in a few weeks. It will likely be a brewery only release as well. Otherwise, you have to go the Funky Buddha and hope they have it on tap the 4-5 times a year they do.

This shit is elusive... yeah... just a few times a year at the brewery.

Never seems to be on when I'm there visiting my folks. That said, Funky Buddha ALWAYS seems to have something else amazing on tap.

I don't even think they will be able to bottle until end of this year or 2014. I know they recently tapped it at the original location in Boca Raton and hopefully they'll have it at the brewery in Oakland Park, whenever it opens. Either way you're probably gonna have to drive down to South FL to get this.

I would expect Maple Bacon Coffee Porter to be one of the exclusive bottle releases for Founders Club Members this year. Since there are only 150 members of the club (and I was lucky enough to be one of them) I am hopeful some of the big boys (MBCP, Morning Wood, Last Snow, No Crusts) make there way into bottles. But Swickle is dead on with his assessment of Funky Buddha's current output.

Things may change as the brewery expands, but at this stage none of us know.

Thanks for the input. Looks like a road trip may be in order

I can promise you it will be a trip well worth it. Check out Due South Brewing on the way (not as good or inventive as Funky, but they have a few nice offerings and are only about 15 minutes north of Funky). Due South is an up and comer as well.
