Didn't they release multiple iterations of JP where they had tweaked it? I could be mis-remembering, though.

 

No, you are remembering it correctly, they were called 'chapters' and were slightly tweaked and with different hops.

Some 'chapters' better than others but nothing was really incredible.

I'm interested in checking this out, as if it's been tweaked again under Roger and brewed by him, this could be a really really good easy to get go to.

 

I'd be interested to know if they do a milkshake version with lactose, but hope it wouldn't be called Creamed Pants...

Isn't Juice Pants contract brewed and also their main seller? I kind or doubt this is the one that'll get overhauled.

i picked up a 4 pack of JP and V21 for the Cubs game tonight. Hops (for JP) are citra, citra cyro, mosaic,mosaic cyro. It's hard to mess up a beer with that combination.

oh and it was canned yesterday

When in doubt...don't. We're not lacking for strong IPA's right now, and the recipe pre-Roger just wasn't very good.

Unless he's a literal alchemist, it won't be that good.

Pretty much agreed (although I thought the pre-Roger recipe was solid...but solid doesn't mean I run out and buy something). To me, this is something I will grab a couple cans of when I get a mix 6 at Bottles & Cans or Beermiscuous, assuming it's around at the time.
