Im not sure if Imstillthegman has been posting his hauls on here or not, but it looks like my package was delivered a little earlier today.

 

I just want to thank all the winners who passed on picking Thorpe429. He blew me away in our Sour, Saison, and Funk BIF and he did it again with this box. Thanks!

Got two UNBELIEVABLE boxes today!

- CW BBA Stout - perma want. So good.
- Zombie Dust! My first ever FFF beer (also have two Dark Lords coming to me in a trade!). Always wanted to try the legendary Zombie Dust...and let's just say tonight didn't disappoint.
- Backwoods. As stated previously in this thread, one of my all-time top-5 beers. I can NEVER have enough of this.
- CW BB Cherry Stout! I've had a few of the BB Stout, but never this. VERY excited to crack this open - it won't stay in the cellar long. AWESOME BOX! Thank you!

- Bruery Provisions - MOTHER FUNKER. Dig it. Here's the story: I've never had a sour. Now in my cellar, I have a Mother Funker and a RR Supplication. As with all things in life, GO BIG or GO HOME. And that's what I'll do with my intro to sours. Will I like them? Maybe. I know one thing: it'll be a hell of a ride.
- Two more Zombie Dusts! (Dustii?). In the fridge already, chilling right next to another box I got in a trade today from a new friend in California...stay tuned for that one.
- '12 KBS. This beer likely needs no explanation. To get this beer (and this box) as winnings from a BIF is truly above and beyond. World class beers from BOTH boxes today. Just incredible!


This isn't from this BIF...but it needs to be posted. I'm a disciple of the gospel of Heady Topper. It's my local beer, my go-to, my trade chip to the world of craft beers. In my opinion, no IIPA has come CLOSE to Heady. But, nagging in the back of my mind has always been the echo of my untapped IPA whale. Pinging in the distance. WAITING. So, I made a trade.


Oh yes. It is on now. Heady Topper and PtE under the same roof! In the same fridge!

So, today was all right.

Sorry for the delay in posting. I have received four more boxes. Lots of great beers! I received from Wisconsinbeer1,Ejyoung, and two others. Blanking on the names right now. As far as the beer goes, I have been blown away! I can only guess what came from who since my kids so generously opened the boxes for me and had the beer waiting on the table when I got home...lol. Ok, it seems as if my buddy may have not sent out the box! lol. My box is nearly identical to the one I claimed above, but now I don't believe it was mine. Either way, your box will be there by week's end if that wasnt it (shipped by John from IL).
