I'd say at least the top four should get beer--maybe even top five.

Ok, top 4 it is, and dead last is off the hook for sending beer. Gives people near the bottom something to root for(or against) too... I'll figure out a breakdown of how many boxes everyone gets once we have everyone signed up.

And PLEASE no more requests from new players, past players can still get in until tomorrow night.

Agree. Top four or five should get beer

Might add a payout to 5th if we keep getting late signups. Just had another past player want to get back in...

So am I correct in seeing that 38 people signed up? Should be a blast! Best of luck everyone.

And we are off with 38 players, wow!!!

Here is the final payout breakdown,
    1st - 16 boxes, 2nd - 8, 3rd -5, 4th -3, 5th - 1. Also dead last doesn't have to send.

Good luck and cheers! Enjoy a tasty beer while watching the games, I have some homebrew on tap tonight!

Great breakdown. It's nice to know you'll get at least a box for top 5.

    Good luck to all players!

I'm really glad to have this one going again. My Illini are completely in the toilet so I was able to pick a bracket without bias. I hope that worked!

Are we counting JohnPPutz in this as he never submitted a bracket?

I ask because as of right now I'm in last place otherwise.

I noticed that too. My guess would be no.

If you needed help picking games cbeer you should have just asked! ;-)

The sad thing is I actually watch a lot of college basketball. Ways to go still...

I'd be lying if I said any of the picks weren't anything more than sheer luck and picking a bunch of favorites. I haven't watched a game all year.

Like you said, plenty of tournament left. I'm just enjoying my night of "genius".

He's out since he didn't submit a bracket. So I'll have to cut the boxes by one.

I'm off to my typical bad start, I am a sucker for upsets...

Can you take a look at the payout again? If JohnPPutz is out we have 37 participants. With 5 winners and last place not shipping, 31 boxes should be going out, right? If so, the box payout needs to be cut by 2.

I'll take a look at it later. (I'm heading out of town in a few hours)

This wouldn't be the first time my math was wrong.

Here's hoping my B10/ACC leanings carry me all the way....looking good so far. C'mon Wolfpack!

Big 10 leanings are helping me thus far. Too bad Michigan choked. While I had Kansas in the S16, I would have loved for Purdue to have pulled that off.
