The big 12 tourney this year was crazy. The 3rd title in 4 years for ISU, tcu beats ku, and ksu knocks off Baylor.

 

Let's go with the terps and union craft double duckpin. My boys are going in the wrong direction going into the tournament. But I haven't lost hope! Well yes I have...

 

Fullsteam Brewery in Durham, NC, even though I don't see Duke winning it all

 

Mountain State Brewing Co., Morgantown, (West Virginia University) vs. Swamp Head Brewing, Gainesville (University of Florida) in the final!

 

The school is NOT in Philadelphia. I will cheer for them but will pull for any Philly school over them.

I'll go with Jailbreak Brewing which is about 15 Miles north of the University of Maryland. My Terps are limping into the dance so hopefully they make a turnaround! Oh and Jailbreak makes a GABF gold medal winner called Van Damnit. Fantastic Belgian strong ale!

 

Both great choices but perhaps Diamondback Brewing in Baltimore should represent the Terps considering it was named for them.

Wake Forest and John Collins will emerge from one of the play-in games and drag poor old Foothills to glory! Just kidding.. Wake and Foothills are both small and wonderful. Also, I hope UNC-Greensboro beats Syracuse and the mouthy Jim Boeheim in the snow today in the NIT. Cheers.

 

I'm really conflicted on this one. I generally pull for the ACC teams in both the NIT and the NCAA, but it is awfully hard to avoid disliking Boeheim.

Anyway, I'm also pulling for our home state Minnesota Golden Gophers. Quite a turnaound from the worst record in school history last year, to grabbing a #5 seed in the dance, but hit late with injuries. The bench will have to step up. Town Hall Brewery for old times sake.
