March Madness Survivor BIF

Yep, third was pretty much my ceiling after yesterday unless I picked different than both of you. I lose the tiebreaker too.

 

You could have went bold and picked ND. Then you would have Cuse left... (Or pick Cuse today)
Then again if the other 2 take Unc and lose and Virginia wins, you could have won it all.
Crazy game. Lots of strategy.

 

Yeah I thought about it but hoped that somehow both would pick NC and they'd lose. Less pressure when you've already won three boxes.

 

Yeah, I got to a point in 3rd that I began playing not to lose. I won a box, so that's cool.

Hindsight, I have Nova, Oklahoma and UNC in my ESPN bracket.

 

Man what a wild pool that was, first time doing a survivor pool for NCAA, and was more fun than brackets with the daily tinkering (and obviously results helped a bit)...

It was fun, that it came down to the end. Honestly, I was hoping everyone would lose out Saturday. I would have ended with 3rd.

So many wants and other favorites from Florida. I love all the different styles as I have uncles that are working their way into craft beer and I like doing tastings with as many styles as I can find.

Onto the beers!

• Two Jai Alai - Always a favorite
• Funky Buddha Floridian - One of my favorite Hefeweizen.
• Funky Buddha Hop Gun - Want as I love the brewery
• Funky Buddha More Moro - Same as above as it sounds delicious
• Modern Times City of the Sun - First one I unwrapped so I knew it was going to be a great box. My fiance loves Mosaic hopped beers, so I can't wait to share this one with her.
• Fat Head's Hop Juju - Another big want as I've only had Head Hunter
• Live Oak Hefeweizen - Can't wait to share this one as it's such a highly rated hefeweizen
• Jack's Abbey Hoponius Union - Another one I'm sharing tonight.
• The Bruery Oude Tart with Sour Cherries (2013) - Saving the best for last. This is very generous and another great style to share.

OK, I have sucked the last two weeks and screwed up one of the boxes photos, so I will do my best here.

Got a box yesterday from @cosmo4u and already killed one of the Headys...I don't think the rest of the beer will make it through the weekend. Excited for the War Elephant, cool can!

I want to say sorry to @Keithengelke I deleted the pic when cleaning up the "cloud" the other day. For what I remember he sent 2 cans of Alter Ego from Treehouse...gone...yummy and Cone Flakes, will be drank tonight. There was some other cans too, which I killed. Thanks, I live New England beer!

• Belching Beaver Peanut Butter Milk Stout - This was actually the first beer I had when I visited San Diego with my fiance last year as our AirBnB was right down the street. Fun memory!
• Two Pizza Port Swami IPAs- Looking forward to trying some Pizza Port
• Karl Strauss Six Suits a Hanging - Sounds like an interesting beer, thanks!
• Karl Strauss Aurora Hoppyalis - Another solid IPA.
