March Madness Survivor League BIF

March Madness is upon us!

I need 15 participants. Each participant will be randomly assigned to 4 teams in the NCAA March Madness tournament. What’s that, you say? You are worried you will be stuck with all four of the 16 seeds? Well to make it fair each participant will get one team according to the following:
- 1 team from the 1 - 4 seeds
- 1 team from the 5 - 8 seeds
- 1 team from the 9 - 12 seeds
- 1 team from the 13 - 16 seeds

So you could end up with a #3, #5, #11, and #15 seed as your four teams or any other random combination. You will also never have a team in the same region, which means that if your 1 - 4 seed is from the East you will not have another team in the East division. Hopefully, this will allow you from having to play against yourself at least until the Final Four or Championship game. All you have to do is root for your four teams to keep winning, because the more they win the more boxes you receive!

- If you have a team in the final four you will receive 3 boxes, sent from the three non-winners in that region.
- If you win the championship game you will win a possible additional three boxes sent from the non-winning final four members.

If all four of your teams make it to the Final Four you would win the maximum 12 boxes. There are a lot of possible outcomes, but the championship winner will win no less than 6 boxes total. That's 396 oz of beer!!

Fine Print
1. Open to BA’s in the lower 48 US states only
2. Non-winning participants agree to ship at minimum 66oz. of wants, locals, or otherwise high quality (86 or higher rating on BA) beer to one of the winners, to be assigned after the tournament. There is no limit to the amount you can send.
3. Shipping window opens Tuesday, April 8th (pending assignments) and runs through Wednesday, April 30th.
4. To participate, you must have an established trade/BIF history or a sponsor who does. Your sponsor agrees to ship a box if you fail to do so. If you want in, simply respond in this thread. I will periodically post and update a list of participants in this thread. If you see the name of a BA who you feel should not participate because they have failed to come through on past trades, are on the bad trader list or for any other reason, please contact me immediately.

Once the bracket is set, I will make a list of all participants, based on the order you sign-up (with myself being the last pick for each region). Then I will draw 16 teams from each region separately and they will be assigned to the participants in the order they’re drawn. Assignments will be posted in this thread and I will make every effort to video the drawing.

To clear something up, if you do not have a team that makes it to the final four you will be sending a box to someone that does. The assignments will be random.

To make this interesting I also like to encourage mini-BIFs within this BIF. I will be hosting one for Upsets. If your team beats a lower seeded team you will receive a point. Whoever has the most upset points will win 22 oz of something highly rated from myself.
